I'm a young American dancer/choreographer living and working in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Before you ask, I'm here because a friend of mine asked me to come and teach -- so I did, just after graduating from Columbia University. I meant to stay 8 months; I've overstayed that now by a year. Artistically, I'm particularly fascinated by cross-genre, cross-cultural work. If it's not yet obvious, dance is my life and love.
Currently, I'm working for a major television network choreographing the backup dancers for their live weekend concerts, and for a very cool NGO called Cambodian Living Arts (www.cambodianlivingarts.org).
